Gerard C. Buffo, MD, FACR
Gerard C. Buffo, MD, FACR, former Dean of the Kripalu School of Ayurveda, blends his 31 years of experience in Western medicine with Eastern practice, teaching students, treating patients, and researching ways to improve the delivery of care. He holds a medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and trained in Ayurveda and complementary medicine at Kripalu and the Ayurvedic Institute. He believes that the keys to health lie in maintaining balance; gaining access to the power of the healer within; and living according to the rhythms of nature.
