From Downtown Lenox, MA:
Kripalu offers A shuttle service from our campus to and from downtown Lenox, MA on Fridays and Sundays for $10.00. Shuttle picks up and drops off at the Lenox Town Hall across the street from the monument.
Please note, when scheduling any travel to Kripalu by bus, please select Lenox as a dropoff location. We do not have shuttles operating from downtown Stockbridge.

A NOTE ON RIDESHARES

While available at major airports and train stations, popular ridesharing apps (including Uber and Lyft) are not prominent or reliable services in the Berkshires. If you use that mode of transportation for your arrival, please know that it is not a viable option for your departure from Kripalu and you may need to make other accommodations. In addition, any taxi service should be scheduled in advance.

From North

• Take Route 7/20 south from Pittsfield.
• Take Route 7A for 1.2 miles to Lenox Town Monument. Turn right onto Route 183.
• After 1.6 miles, at the Town of Stockbridge sign and junction with Richmond Mountain Road, bear left; the Kripalu entrance is immediately on your right.

From East or West

• Take Exit 10 (formerly Exit 2) for Lenox, Lee, Pittsfield off the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90).
• Take exit ramp onto Route 20 West.
• After 4 miles, Route 7 merges with Route 20.
• 100 yards past the merge, turn left at the traffic light onto Route 183.
• After 1 mile, you will be at the monument in the center of Lenox.
• Bear left at the monument to stay on 183 for another 1.6 miles.
• At the Town of Stockbridge sign and junction with Richmond Mountain Road, bear left: the Kripalu entrance is immediately on your right.

From South

• From New York City, take the Taconic Parkway or New York State Thruway (Interstate 87) North to Interstate 90 East.
• Proceed as “from east or west” above.

Albany Airport

• Albany Airport is the nearest airport to Kripalu.
• Please note at this time, Kripalu does not provide shuttle service to and from Albany International Airport.
• Please refer to the taxi and limo service above for transportation from the airport.

Bradley International (Hartford, CT/Springfield, MA)

• Take a taxi to Springfield. Peter Pan/Bonanza Bus Lines travel from Springfield to Lenox several times daily.
• Please note that Kripalu does not provide shuttle service to and from Bradley.
• Please refer to the taxi and limo service above for transportation from the airport.

BY TRAIN

• From Boston, Albany, and Springfield to Pittsfield
  Amtrak offers one train daily from Boston, Albany, and Springfield, arriving in Pittsfield, nine miles from Kripalu. Preregistration required. Contact Amtrak at 800.872.7245. Please note that this train is often late and a taxi to Kripalu costs around $25. Please plan accordingly if you plan to arrive via Amtrak.
   
• From New York City to Pittsfield
  Amtrak offers trains Fridays and Sundays from July—September 
  The seasonal "Berkshire Flyer" train service from NYC's Penn Station to Pittsfield on Fridays and from Pittsfield to NYC on Sundays from May 26, 2023, to October 8, 2023. Friday trains depart NYC at 3:15 pm and arrive at 7:15 pm. Sunday trains depart Pittsfield at 3:00 pm and arrive at 7:05 pm. On Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, the train from Pittsfield to NYC will depart on Monday. More information and tickets here. 
   
• From New York City to Wassaic, NY
  Metro North provides service daily from Manhattan to Wassaic, New York. To contact Metro North, call 800.638.7646. Please note that the taxi ride to Kripalu from Wassaic costs around $200.
