PREPARE FOR YOUR KRIPALU EXPERIENCE

INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS FOR ARRIVAL

FINDING KRIPALU | On Google Maps, enter this address: 57 Interlaken Rd. Stockbridge, MA 01262. Once on campus, signs will lead you to the entrance for registration, in the back of the building. View directions and transportation options here

CHECKING IN | Check-in begins at 2:00 pm. Your accommodations will be available no later than 4:00 pm. You may store your luggage in our designated luggage room until your accommodations are ready. You are welcome to attend the 4:45 pm Kripalu Yoga classes.

Your meals begin with dinner on your arrival day, served from 5:30 to 7:30 pm Friday and Saturday and 5:30 to 7:00 pm Sunday through Thursday. If you arrive within 15 minutes of the meal's end time, you may want to make other arrangements for dinner.

If you arrive after 10:00 pm, please enter through the building's main entrance on the north side. See the campus map here.

REQUIRED FOR CHECK-IN | Please have the following on hand for check-in:

  • • Photo ID
  • • Credit card
  • • Make, model, and color of your vehicle
  • • License plate state and number

DEPARTURE | Programs generally end by 1:00 pm on the last day, and lunch is included in your stay. Room check-out is at 10:00 am. However, you are welcome to stay until 2:00 pm.

WHAT TO PACK

Kripalu will provide yoga mats, blocks, and straps. Your stay will be more enjoyable if you come prepared with the following:

  • • Comfortable clothing for yoga and movement classes
  • • Walking/hiking shoes for outdoors and hiking trails
  • • Water bottle, sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen
  • • A notebook and writing utensils
  • • Summer: bathing suit, water shoes, and a large towel for the lakefront
  • • Winter: snowshoes or cross-country ski equipment

PLEASE NOTE that these ACTIVITIES are for R&R guests only.

SOUND BATH & OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES | Spaces for sound baths and outdoor activities—including archery, guided hiking, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding—are limited and fill up quickly. Advanced registration is required. Please contact us at 413.448.3152 to reserve your spot if you haven't already.

HEALING ARTS SERVICES | If you have not already booked a Healing Arts service—including massage and bodywork—book now online or call 413.448.3214

SHUTTLE | We now offer a shuttle service to downtown Lenox on Fridays and Sundays. For more information and to book now, visit our transportation page.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR STAY

Our policies are designed to eliminate distractions and ensure a peaceful stay for all our guests. Thank you in advance for your consideration of others—and their consideration of you.

CAMPUS SAFETY OFFICE | The Campus Safety Office is located by the Main Entrance and serves as Kripalu’s First Aid Station. The Kripalu Campus Safety Department can be reached at 413-448-3555 or by email at campussafety@kripalu.org. For any on campus emergencies, please get in touch with Campus Safety.

LOST & FOUND | All Lost and Found Property is handled by the Front Desk. The Front Desk can be contacted at 413.448.3450

COVID-19 SAFETY | For your personal safety and that of our community, we encourage all guests to monitor for symptoms of Covid-19 and other illnesses before your visit. View our latest Covid-19 safety protocols here.

Kripalu does not currently require proof of vaccination.

  • For guests participating in a Kripalu Schools training program, a negative Covid test within 48 hours of arrival is required.
  •  
  • Masks are not required in the main building, dining hall, shop, or program/yoga rooms. However, we encourage guests to monitor and manage their own personal health and safety and mask accordingly. Note: Depending on program needs, masks may be required for specific programs inside the room.

SMOKE-FREE CAMPUS Smoking of any kind (cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, marijuana, etc.) is prohibited on Kripalu’s campus. Anyone caught in violation of this policy will be subject to a fine.

TECH-FREE PUBLIC SPACES | All public spaces at Kripalu are tech-free, with the exception of some designated tech areas. To review our Unplugged at Kripalu policy, click here.
