Finding Inner Peace in a Violent World

EXAMINE LIFE THROUGH GANDHI'S PRINCIPLES

Mass shootings in America are on the rise, flash mob thefts are proliferating, and we hear more and more about things like "truth decay" and "fake news". These are just a few reasons why we need to change directions both as individuals and as a society.

Join journalist, speaker, and best-selling author, Perry Garfinkel, for a program that offers ways to break the cycles of violence, lying, and overconsumption. You will:

  • Learn strategies to help you cope with or eliminate the influences of these worrisome conditions.
  • Examine Gandhi’s six principles: truth, nonviolence, simplicity, faith, vegetarianism, and abstinence
  • Discover or rediscover your moral compass, or true north.

Return home with practical ways to address each of Gandhi's principles so you can live an ethical and more fulfilled life.

NOTE No prior knowledge about Gandhi is necessary.
