EXPLORE A FOUNDATIONAL OVERVIEW OF THE YOGA THERAPY FIELD
Whether you choose to enroll in Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy's (KSIYT) 300-Hour Advanced Teacher of Therapeutic Yoga or the 800-Hour Professional Yoga Therapist program, your learning journey begins here.
Immerse yourself in one of the most established yoga therapy training courses available, focusing on the use of yoga as a true healing art.
Yoga therapy can be applied in a wide variety of mainstream settings, including hospitals and healthcare offices. In this training, you will learn the philosophical underpinnings of the evolution of yoga therapy in India and in the West as well as a survey of the various tools used in yoga therapy such as asana, pranayama, mudra, yoga nidra, guided relaxation, and imagery. Additionally, you will learn comprehensive integration of biomechanics and somatic movement, as well as anatomical and physiological knowledge of all the body systems. Focus on the development of individual yoga therapy sessions and learn to translate the principles and skills of the therapeutic relationship in a one-on-one setting with clients.
