TRANSFORM STRESS INTO CLARITY, RESILIENCE, AND FLOW

Join us for an online book club that offers life-changing strategies for finding meaning and fulfillment.  

Hosted by Charlyn Anandamai Reihman, this four-week book club will provide an opportunity to engage with Michael Lee, founder of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, global pioneer of embodied mindfulness yoga practice, and author of Turn Stress into Bliss. This book has recently been expanded and updated to bring forward proven strategies for transforming the stresses of everyday life into a state of bliss using eight core principles.  

The book is a beautifully written, groundbreaking guide showing that we can use the mind-body connection as a pathway for better health and wellbeing.  

This book club series will explore:

  • Befriending the body: Listen to what stress is telling you.
  • Awareness: Notice your patterns before they take over.  
  • Acceptance: Shift from resistance to curiosity.
  • Choice: Respond instead of react.  
  • Discernment: Align your actions with what really matters.  
  • Truth: Live authentically and honestly.  
  • Truth in action: Turn insights into meaningful change.  
  • Flow: Move through life with more ease.  

This series includes a discussion with the author, reflections, journaling, and meditations, as well as skills for finding joy and fulfillment in our lives.

NOTE: The book club series will include 30-minute discussions between the author and the host, breakout sessions that include prompts and discussion points, and large group sharing around themes from the reading and conversations.

Michael Lee, MA, is a master educator and yogi who founded Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy in 1985 after many years of deep yoga practice. He is the author of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and Turn Stress Into Bliss.
