A DOORWAY TO A DEEPER CONNECTION WITH NATURE
Revel in the longest days of the year this summer in a program that connects you more deeply to the self, others, and the natural world.
Join Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guides, Katie Hagel and Ami Jean Aubin, for a program that invites you to practice mindfulness in community with others who share an appreciation for nature.
Enhance your relationship with the natural world and learn to meditate with the elements as you:
- Explore waterfalls and pools, and forest bathe in Kripalu’s grove of ancient hemlock.
- Connect with yourself through mindful hiking, part of the Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Experience.
- Practice outdoor skills such as animal tracking, fire-making, and foraging.
- Participate in a forest tea ceremony with wild-foraged teas to honor the bounty of summer.
- Enjoy an evening fire ceremony and drumming to celebrate the solstice.
The Berkshires—an area long-heralded for its enchanting natural beauty and ability to refresh the mind, body, and spirit—is an ideal place to practice mindfulness. Return home with new skills, a renewed appreciation for the environment, and concrete tools that can help you feel more comfortable outdoors.
NOTE The June instance of this program occurs during the summer solstice and will contain content around this significant time of year.
