Robert Meikyo Rosenbaum

Robert Meikyo Rosenbaum (Bob), PhD, is an American Zen teacher and senior teacher of Dayan (Wild Goose) qigong. He is authorized in Soto Zen by Sojun Mel Weitsman and in Ordinary Mind Zen by Karen Terzano. Before her passing, Grandmaster Hui Liu of the Wen Wu school entrusted Bob with carrying on her transmission of Grandmaster Yang Mei Jun’s Dayan Qigong. Bob is one of the founding members of the Lay Zen Teachers Association and senior teacher at the Wen Wu School. He started the Meadowmind Sangha in the Sierra foothills and in Sacramento. Bob worked for 30 years as a neuropsychologist, psychotherapist, and behavioral medicine specialist and has taught internationally, including a Fulbright Fellowship to the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuroscience in Bengaluru, India. Since retiring, he has devoted his time to Zen and qigong. He has also authored multiple books, book chapters, and journal articles.
