Vasant Lad, BAMS, MASc, an Ayurvedic physician, is founder of the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and is its principal instructor and director. He received a master of Ayurvedic science degree in 1980 from Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya in Pune, India. His most recent book is Textbook of Ayurveda.
