RISE Facilitator Training
- Presenter: Sam Chase

About the Training
As stress continues to surge to unprecedented levels across the country and around the globe, more people than ever are looking to yoga and mindfulness to support their resilience. For more than a decade, Kripalu has shared these mind-body tools through the RISE™ program, our signature evidence-based resilience training, developed through collaboration in dozens of studies with the research community, and the partnership of over 10,000 participants in fields from education, to healthcare, to the business world and beyond.
Kripalu has created the RISE Facilitator Training to amplify the reach and impact of the program and empower people who have participated in RISE to share these tools with their communities. Designed exclusively for our RISE graduates, this training will equip you with the knowledge and skills to offer the full RISE program in an array of adaptable and accessible formats to those you serve and support. You’ll graduate with a full toolbox of support materials for delivering RISE in a variety of personal and professional settings and join an active facilitator community in bringing research-backed resources for resilience within reach of those who need them.
Who It’s For
This training is tailored toward yoga and mindfulness teachers, coaches, therapists, educators, leaders, and anyone whose role equips them to deliver these vital tools for stress management and resilience to their community. Completion of the full three-day onsite or six-week online RISE program is a prerequisite for this training. See a list of upcoming RISE trainings.
Through this training you will:
- Learn to deliver the complete RISE program in alignment with its best practices and research-based methodologies.
- Cultivate expertise in understanding and communicating the RISE model for resilience.
- Grow your group facilitation skills.
- Amplify your ability to offer yoga and mindfulness in secular professional settings.
- Expand your knowledge and fluency with the research behind yoga, mindfulness, and resilience.
- Deepen engagement in wellbeing and culture shift initiatives in your community.
NOTE: Certification as a RISE Facilitator requires completing a final practice teach wherein students will be evaluated for fidelity to the RISE curriculum. Certified facilitators in the field are expected to adhere to the RISE standards and practices described in the training. In the future, if Kripalu makes substantial updates to the RISE curriculum, RISE Facilitators may be expected to take a continuing ed course at an additional expense.
