300-Hour Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training
Yoga and Ayurveda were originally designed to be practiced together, both offering roadmaps that can lead us to the highest truth of our innermost self. The 300-Hour Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training is for 200-hour Yoga Alliance-certified yoga teachers looking to integrate the wisdom of Ayurveda into their teaching practice. This Yoga Alliance-recognized training provides you with the fundamental building blocks of Ayurveda as a system of health and well-being and potent ways to plan yoga classes and design sequences guided by Ayurvedic principles. In this certification, you also discover additional tools to enhance the quality of your yoga teaching through one of two Kripalu School of Yoga 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training modules—Guiding Meditation for Transformational Yoga Teaching or Teaching Pranayama: Essential Practices for Yoga Teachers.

The 300-Hour Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training is a comprehensive program designed for 200-hour Yoga Alliance-certified yoga teachers who wish to integrate Ayurveda into their teaching practice. The training emphasizes the connection between Yoga and Ayurveda, two ancient systems that complement each other in guiding individuals toward holistic health and self-realization.

FOUNDATIONS OF AYURVEDA
Understand the fundamental principles of Ayurveda, exploring concepts like digestion, nutrition, anatomy, physiology, and psychology. This section also offers practical self-care practices to enhance personal well-being.

UNITING YOGA AND AYURVEDA
Learn how to integrate Ayurveda into your yoga classes and private sessions. The focus is on the three vital forces in Ayurveda: prana (life force), agni (inner fire), and ojas (vigor). This module will help you apply Ayurvedic principles in designing classes, therapeutic sessions or series.

TEACHING PRANAYAMA
Deepen your understanding of pranayama (breathing techniques), including their physical and energetic benefits. This module explores the philosophy behind pranayama and its importance in yoga practice.

GUIDING MEDITATION FOR TRANSFORMATIONAL TEACHING
This module helps you guide students to find inner stillness through meditation, combining physical activity with mindfulness to achieve deep concentration and awareness (samyama).
TEXTBOOKS AND MATERIALS
Students receive a complementary manual and are required to study the following texts:
- The Everyday Ayurveda Cookbook: A Seasonal Guide to Eating and Living Well, by Kate O’Donnell

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The training is designed to be flexible, with modules that can be taken in any order. However, it is recommended that students complete the Foundations of Ayurveda before the Uniting Yoga and Ayurveda module to ensure they have a strong understanding of Ayurveda's core concepts before applying them to yoga.
This program is ideal for yoga teachers who want to deepen their knowledge of Ayurveda and enhance the quality of their teaching by offering students more tailored and holistic practices that support mind, body, and spirit.
