Christine Bissonnette
Kripalu Faculty and Healing Arts Practitioner
Christine Bissonnette, E-RYT500, LMT, is an integrated positional therapist, Reiki Master and bodyworker. With two decades of experience, she is passionate about service and deeply curious about how people can facilitate sustainable transformation to enable a more peaceful and pain-free life. As a holistic health educator, she embodies the teachings with playfulness and creates space for personal and global transformation. Christine lives in the inquiry that it is “your yoga,” leaving space for each individual's expression of the practice.
Christine's many years working at Kripalu—as well as in private practice, medical settings, and hospice—have allowed her to be witness to a vast variety of bodies in different stages and abilities. She teaches her students to understand movement within their bodies at a functional level, and her classes and workshops focus on how to live a pain-free life with joy, ease, and compassion. Christine lives her days in gratitude for these practices.
