Curriculum Overview
This 200-hour training includes both contact and non-contact learning in these key areas:
- Deep Understanding of the Doshas: Explore the core principles of Ayurvedic balance.
- Dinacharya for Modern Life: Learn daily routines for health and harmony, including care of the senses, sleep, and mindfulness aligned with natural rhythms.
- Hands-On Ayurvedic Cooking: Discover how to nurture yourself with seasonal eating, digestion tips, and Ayurvedic nutrition.
- Introductory Sanskrit: Gain insight into the language of this ancient science.
- Ayurveda-Informed Yoga and Meditation: Experience the synergy of yoga, pranayama, and mindfulness practices through the lens of Ayurveda.
- Ayurvedic Psychology: Harness the power of the mind to cultivate balance and well-being.
Through an integrated curriculum blending education with experiential learning, the Kripalu approach brings Ayurveda to life. You’ll feel more attuned to yourself, others, and the rhythms of the natural world. At-home study assignments between sessions help you fully embody the teachings.

Full Bio and ProgramsRosy Mann has more than 30 years of experience as an Ayurvedic doctor. She offers personal Ayurvedic consultations, as well as educational courses, lectures, and workshops.
Full Bio and ProgramsJyothi Bhatt, an Ayurvedic specialist and yoga therapist, received her training from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and SVYASA University, India.
Full Bio and ProgramsLarissa Hall Carlson, E-RYT 500, MA, 20-year Kripalu faculy and former Dean of the Kripalu School of Ayurveda, guides retreats, directs trainings, and provides Ayurvedic consultations across the country.
