A RETREAT FOR BIPOC MEN
Join Kripalu Visionary, internationally recognized yoga and meditation teacher, activist, and the founder of Active Peace Yoga, Reggie Hubbard, for a rejuvenating weekend program designed for all men—and those who identify as men—of color.
Experience a space for deep rest, soul healing, laughter, and conscious conversations about the stresses we carry and how we can begin to lay these burdens down. We will focus on creating compassionate community, supportive sharing, and release. Reggie will also guide you through a process of energetic clearance, somatic movement, mediation, and conscious conversation rooted in individual and collective liberation.
Through daily meditation, yoga, sound experiences, and more, learn how to:
- Fortify your personal practice or begin to create your own practice.
- Make space for emotional softening and liberation from past experience.
- Appreciate sound for its impact on mental health, and how silence and sound can be powerful agents to clear the mind and relax the body.
Together, we will lighten our load and welcome our collective liberation through purposeful practice and presence. Taught through the lens of the African American male experience, this program will guide you to create compassionate connection to yourself and other men of color. Return home refreshed, inspired, with a feeling of being seen, and with practical tools you can implement in your life.
