Cat Bigney is a globally recognized survival consultant with over two decades of hands-on experience worldwide. She holds a BS in Earth Science and Behavioral Science and is a seasoned instructor at the Boulder Outdoor Survival School (BOSS). Cat's expertise spans traditional and innovative survival techniques, making her a sought-after keynote speaker and international consultant. Cat has navigated extreme survival situations, from facing lions and crocodiles to navigating front-line war zones. Her experience in survival projects has honed her skills in risk assessment, social engineering, and rapid survival analysis. She excels in designing transformative curricula and training the next generation of survival guides.

As a multifaceted talent in TV production, Cat has led survival consultations in high-risk areas for global TV platforms. She has been a featured presenter on National Geographic, Netflix, Discovery, Channel 4 UK, PBS, and IGTV. Her work spans diverse locations, including Panama, Tanzania, Oman, Ukraine, Mongolia, Palau, and the United States, including Alaska. Cat is also dedicated to humanitarian efforts, serving as a board member for a non-profit aiding Ukraine. Her humanitarian work includes providing medical supplies and first aid training to civilians and supporting indigenous communities and archaeological sites in Utah.

Cat is the coexecutive VP of "Survival Mastery," an online educational platform offering international access to survival, bushcraft, homesteading, and self-reliance education.
