Katie Goodman
Katie Goodman is an award-winning comedian, author, and speaker. She has been seen on Showtime, Current TV, and TruTV, has toured internationally for more than 12 years, and her comedy show plays off-Broadway. Her comedy has amassed three million views online. As a keynote speaker and trainer, Katie has taught thousands the art of bringing the tools of improvisational comedy into their work and everyday life. She writes for O, The Oprah Magazine and is the author of Improvisation for the Spirit: Living A More Creative, Spontaneous and Courageous Life Using the Tools of Improv Comedy. She certifies entrepreneurs in her four-month, Improvisation for Life Workshop Certification Program, teaching others how to create a thriving, profitable, and fulfilling business as a creative workshop leader. Her clients include Planned Parenthood, the YWCA, Huffington Post, Thrive, Inbound, TedX, the Martha Beck Institute, and colleges such as Harvard, Wellesley, and Smith. Katie was nominated for a MacArthur Foundation Genius Grant for her unique work in theater.
