Tara Foley

Tara Foley is a passionate clean-beauty advocate, activist, and entrepreneur. In 2013 she founded Follain, a nationwide retailer dedicated to selling the safest, most effective, and luxurious nontoxic personal care products. Tara discovered clean beauty in 2009 after realizing that, while she tried to stay healthy through exercise and healthy eating, she never questioned what she was putting on her body. Once she discovered the potentially harmful ingredients hiding in her beauty products, she started a blog to share information. The positive response she received inspired her to turn her passion project into something bigger. Since opening its first location in Boston in 2013, Follain has grown to include six stores across the country and an ecommerce website. In addition to helping customers discover products that won't compromise their health for beauty, Tara works with advocacy groups fighting for better regulation in the beauty industry.
