FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, FAMILY CAREGIVERS, AND OTHER HEALERS
Caregivers thrive by caring for others. However, we cannot share from an empty cup. We must first care for ourselves.
Join four presenters with vast healthcare experience for a unique, interactive program specifically designed to improve the well-being of health professionals, family caregivers, and other healers.
Celia Hilson, assistant clinical director of Integrative Wellbeing Services at Williams College; Suzanne Koven, physician, writer-in-residence at Massachusetts General Hospital, and associate professor of medicine and global health and social medicine at Harvard Medical School; Lisa Weinert, author and founder of Narrative Healing; and Edward Phillips, associate professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School, will guide you through narrative, self-inquiry, meditation, movement, and more as you:
- Explore new ways to care for the caregiver.
- Learn how to transform our institutions to create a more sustainable and compassionate healthcare environment for both workers and patients.
- Participate in supportive, experiential workshops on mindfulness-based writing and storytelling, exercise and nutrition, as well as yoga, meditation, and other stress reduction techniques.
