Join Forrest Yoga guardian, Erica Mather, for an intensive weekend meant to unshield, open, and purge your heart of all that clouds it. Move toward the "transparency of heart"—the second attribute of a yogi according to the Bhagavad Gita—to find and honor your heart's truest and most authentic desires.
Through traditional Forrest Yoga asana—a practice focused on deliberate breathing, cleansing sweating, and postures intended to challenge you—you will:
- Cultivate tapas (self-discipline) and svadhyaya (self-study).
- Lift the veil of illusion that covers your perceptions.
- Build courage and bravery in the face of your fears.
Return home feeling empowered and refreshed from over 10 hours of a sweaty and challenging yoga practice within a 48-hour period. This program is suitable for those interested in the melding of a strong yet adaptive yoga practice with a deep emotional and spiritual dive.
NOTE The room will be heated to about 80 or 82 degrees. Participants should expect to participate in two-hour intensives.
