The Great Work of Your Life Reconnect With Your True Self
- Presenter: Ilana Beigel
- Presenter: Stephen Cope
TEACHINGS FOR MODERN LIFE
There are multiple benefits of living with purpose including alignment, fulfillment, direction, and inner peace. It can also lead to a more meaningful and satisfying life, as well as enhanced resilience, relationships, and overall well-being. Yet living with purpose can feel like an overwhelming and daunting endeavor, sometimes even leading to what psychologists have termed “purpose anxiety".
Join beloved Kripalu teachers, Ilana Beigel and Stephen Cope (who will be appearing via livestream), for a weekend retreat that offers a deep, yet light, exploration into how the living tradition of yoga can guide you on your path of purpose. The Bhagavad Gita, the Hindu devotional work that literally translates as “Song of God,” is considered one of the world’s greatest teachings on this topic and although ancient, remains fully applicable to modern life.
Through lecture, discussion, meditation, and other exercises aimed at allowing us to experience how life itself is a profound spiritual practice, you will:
- Explore karma yoga, the yoga of action.
- Reconnect with your dharma, your soul’s calling.
- Gain tools to support your path.
- Take time to pause, reflect, and realign with what truly matters.
Past program participants report feeling more inspired, peaceful, aware, centered, aligned, and connected with the Self and community.
NOTE Stephen Cope will appear virtually on Saturday afternoon only. No experience, skills, or talents are required to attend. Please bring an open mind and a blank journal.
