Mother Hunger Reclaiming Lost Nurturance, Protection, and Guidance
- Presenter: Kelly McDaniel
COMPASSIONATE GUIDANCE FOR GREATER HEALING
Author and licensed professional counselor, Kelly McDaniel, addressed a cultural phenomenon that impacts many women: love addiction.
In her first book, Ready to Heal, Kelly identified the origin of love addiction and gave it the name Mother Hunger. In her second book, Mother Hunger: How Adult Daughters Can Understand and Heal from Lost Nurturance, Protection, and Guidance, she expands her concept with attachment science and social/cultural factors to explain how early attachment injuries and relational deprivation impact our development and set the stage for addictive habits of all kinds to bloom.
Join Kelly for a program that will take you on a profound journey to understand and explore the impact of Mother Hunger. Through a blend of compassionate insights and practical exercises, this program offers opportunities to:
- Recognize and address the signs of unmet maternal needs.
